A Bit About Steven
Steven Brooks began his career as a graphic designer. He designed for many clients including the American Red Cross and Yale University. He was also the design editor for a monthly magazine. Over the years his studio evolved into a boutique advertising agency. Steven moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 2004. Moving to Florida he became motivated to paint the wonderful landscape finding inspiration from Florida artists including "A. E." Backus, the Highwaymen and Florida’s own Bob Ross.
He is a Certified Bob Ross Instructor in both landscape painting and floral painting. In addition to the official certification training, he has also painted with two of the original Bob Ross training instructors: Dana Jester and Bob’s son Steve Ross. He has painted extensively with Nic Hankins. He shares the joy of painting by teaching painting classes both live and online.
