18x24 single sheet of graphite paper.  If you have one of the Bob Ross packets for landscape, wildlife or floral, they come with actual size paper patterns. Put this graphite paper on your canvas with the pattern on top. Then trace the patterns on to your canvas with a ball point pen or stylus.  The surface is smooth, allowing for excellent transfer without smudging or tearing.
